MarketPush
UX/UI Product Design:
SaaS integration platform, recruiting platform, recruitment matching tool, and interface design
Summary
MarketPush is the only platform designed specifically for the B2B wholesale and distribution markets. By integrating an online marketplace into an existing e-commerce strategy, MarketPush drives sales and transforms the platform into a destination site for customers.
The Product Platforms
The MarketPush Marketplace Platform is equipped with the most relevant features for the B2B wholesale and distribution markets. It is built with an API that ensures seamless integration with a client’s internal systems.
The Seller Recruitment and Onboarding Module is a customer-focused solution that supports every step of the recruiting and onboarding process, providing a smooth experience for both sellers and platform administrators.
The Recruiting Matching Platform facilitates connections between distributors and sellers, enabling them to collaborate and sell products on the marketplace.
My Role
After conducting previous research and working with Digi-Key to build a marketplace, MarketPush was created to expand into industries beyond the electronic components sector. I played a key role in enhancing the client’s platform when the third-party solution lacked the robustness needed for the integration of electronic parts and did not meet the business's expectations.
MarketPush provided me with the opportunity to leverage my prior research and help develop our own company’s product, tailoring it to meet the needs of various industries. Collaborating with internal teams—including the Product Owner, Operations, and multiple developers—I contributed to the development of the MarketPush Marketplace Platform and the Onboarding and Recruiting Platform. The Marketplace Platform has been successfully launched and is available for clients to integrate their marketplaces.
Both platforms are B2B and B2C SaaS solutions, designed to serve clients across multiple industries, offering a seamless experience for product integrations.

Onboarding
Unlike other marketplaces, the MarketPush Recruitment and Onboarding tool was specifically designed to assist with onboarding new sellers. Many clients were interested in a marketplace but lacked the tools or resources to manage it effectively. This tool provides essential features to support clients and their teams. Key features include:
Application management and storage
Application vetting workflows
Enhanced reporting
Seller analytics and targeted reminders
Training wizards
Applications & Forms
The seller application process plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue, but it’s equally important to keep applications organized and easily accessible for teams to track each seller’s progress. To streamline this, a system was developed to track the status and key details of sellers, enabling a quicker onboarding process. Key items included:
Company name, website, contact name, and email
Status of the applicant
Recruiter and onboarding owner information
Reporting
In-depth reports were provided to clients using the tools, offering insights into the progress of their recruitment and onboarding processes. Similar to many analytics tools, these reports allow for a quick overview of key performance metrics and the status of applications, helping clients easily track important statistics.
Recruiting Matching Platform
The goal was to create a matching service between distributors and marketplace sellers, facilitating connections that allow sellers to offer their products on a distributor's marketplace. Sellers can visit the matching platform, enter their information, and determine if they qualify to begin selling products on the distributor’s website.
Client Example: IMARK
IMARK was the first client onboarded. Through numerous meetings and a deep understanding of their business needs, we were able to identify their requirements and assist IMARK in implementing a marketplace solution tailored to their business.
The Challenge
IMARK had a different approach compared to Digi-Key. Their goal was to create a marketplace for companies within the IMARK network, rather than directly on their website. While the initial concept was to implement the marketplace on their site, the scope evolved as the IMARK team refined their business needs and requirements.
Production
To secure business from this client, I produced various printed materials along with spec work (see below). Leveraging my prior knowledge of the client, I created pages that extended from previous research to meet their needs.
Outcome
The client has decided to move forward with our MarketPush team, and we will continue working with IMARK to deliver the best user experience and successfully implement their marketplace.
IMARK: Marketplace Shopping Cart
Users should be able to complete the checkout process with minimal changes to what they are accustomed to. Below is an example of an IMARK shopping cart, highlighting the changes with marketplace products and showing how the user will experience the final checkout process.
Final Thoughts
The development of MarketPush Marketplace products will be an ongoing effort, continuously evolving as more users engage with the platform. Feedback and data on usage will help identify areas for improvement and guide the implementation of new features to enhance the user experience.
