Summary
Data Dojo is a SaaS product created for distributors and manufacturers to manage purchases, and see how product data is performing in order to make executive decisions on purchasing and keeping stock inventory.
The Challenge
Many distributors and manufactures in the electronic component industry have thousands to millions of SKU’s. Keeping inventory management can be challenging to make sure there is enough in supply but not in excess. Data Dojo provides the data for product inventory to show performance and which products companies should offload or stock up on. The data provided reduces costs for companies in order to have better inventor management.
Research Summary
Using a database of 30 million profiles, estimates demographics and statistics for electronics engineers in the United States. Estimates are verified against BLS, Census, and current job openings data for accuracy. After extensive research and analysis, data science team found that:
Gender Pay Gap For Electronics Engineer
There are over 46,014 electronics engineers currently employed in the United States.
8.8% of all electronics engineers are women, while 91.2% are men.
The average age of an employed electronics engineer is 44 years old.
The most common ethnicity of electronics engineers is White (63.0%), followed by Asian (15.8%), Hispanic or Latino (11.4%) and Black or African American (4.9%).
Electronics engineers are most in-demand in San Diego, CA.
The technology industry is the highest-paying for electronics engineers.
6% of all electronics engineers are LGBT.
My Role
Think through how distributors and manufactures read the data in order to make an informative decision on which products to offload or purchase for the best revenue capabilities.

Summary
Data Dojo is a SaaS product also created a lead generation too in order to build visibility, credibility, trust, and interest. Focusing on lead generation, can help drive traffic from high-quality prospects. And with high-quality prospects comes high-value customers.
The Challenge
Engineers needed tools to help find and track leads that come into their sites in order to expand on their product categories and offers. The Data Dojo tool was created to allow a local platform to store all the data on leads in order to set up their sites for better performance.







Final Thoughts
The Data Dojo was created from a client need but will continue to expand and fit for all clients in the electric component industry. Currently it is only a resource tool but could continue to expand into more for clients and yielding better results.
